ToolsForEveryone is built with a privacy-first architecture. Over 90% of our tools execute 100% inside your local web browser. Your text, JSON data, passwords, hashes, financial figures, salaries, and images never leave your computer and are never transmitted to our servers or stored on any database.

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

  • No User Data Storage: We do not store or inspect any text, code, files, or numbers you input into client-side tools (calculators, formatters, converters, generators, image editors).
  • No Account Registration: ToolsForEveryone requires zero signups, passwords, or personal credentials.
  • No Financial Tracking: Loan amounts, salaries, tax estimates, and bank calculations remain private on your device.

2. Server-Side Diagnostic Tools

For network and domain diagnostic tools (such as DNS Lookup, SSL Certificate Checker, and Ping Audits), the target domain or IP address is queried via our secure backend to retrieve public DNS and header records.

De-duplicated Caching: Public diagnostic results are cached for 2 hours to eliminate redundant network queries and protect upstream resolver infrastructure. IP addresses used for rate-limiting are stored only as temporary cryptographic hashes rotating daily.

3. Cookies & Local Storage

ToolsForEveryone does not use tracking cookies. We utilize standard browser localStorage purely to remember your preferred UI theme (Dark/Light mode) and recent tool history locally on your device.

4. Compliance with International Privacy Regulations

  • GDPR (European Union): Because no personal data is collected or processed on our servers for client-side utilities, full compliance with EU GDPR data minimization principles is maintained by design.
